Job Summary
    Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (e.g. filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, and copying). Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders). Gather materials and assemble information based on customer needs (e.g., brochures, promotional materials). Use sales techniques that maximize revenue.  Data entry, retrieval, reconciliation, and verification of information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process.  Answer guest queries about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, general information, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events). May serve as the initial point of contact for clients and communicates with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests. Assist with coordinating hotel site visits.  

  • College graduate (4 year) and luxury experience preferred
  • Demonstrate-able market research analytical skills
  • Collect data on consumer leads and market place intelligence and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations.
  • Able to compile and analyze statistical data from hotel’s multiple sales systems and formulate reports for senior leaders use.
  • Obtain and possess Subject Matter Expert (SME) designation, i.e., possessing a higher-level proficiency through a series of training and certification in all sales systems.
  • Manage departments expenses and spend relative to budget
  • Working in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize, organize work assignments, focus attention on details
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, in English
  • Strong computer skills, (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Be able to work within a cohesive team and work with minimal supervision
  • Assists management in development of marketing tools such as brochures, video, presentations, promotional materials, direct mail and other information packages.
  • Schedules and monitors social media campaigns in property channels.
  • Develop and manage an image and video library for social media content.
  • Executes e-mail marketing campaigns across brand and property channels.
  • Assists with coordination of agenda for press and influencer visits.

Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
