The role



Developing the most creative sales and marketing strategies, you will lead the team to position this stunning hotel as the only luxury choice in Milan. Making the most of the hotel’s rich heritage and sophisticated interiors, you will partner with team leaders across the business to drive profitability across all 235 guestrooms and suites, private cinema, rooftop bar and multiple transformative events spaces. This is a challenging and multi-layered role, but with your business sense, technical acumen and deep knowledge of the luxury hotel industry, you’ll help us achieve more than ever.



The remit



As a member of our Executive Community, you will join the hotel at a vital point in our evolution. Making the most of our elegant 2015 renovations, you will lead our sales and marketing team in exceeding booking sales objectives, shaping both reactive and proactive strategies and implementing the most innovative tools and programmes. Strengthening our market position, you will establish the hotel as the luxury choice for holidays, events and more, supporting the General Manager in acting as the customer advocate. Working with the wider regional sales and marketing teams to implement Luxury Collection brand packages and participate in sales channels and promotions, you will identify market trends and drivers, using your customer insight to deliver knockout results.

  •  A good knowledge of Europe’s luxury hotel industry.

  • People-centric leadership and management skills, with the capacity to get the most out of your team.

  • Either sales or marketing experience – though you will ideally have both.

  • Comprehensive ability to speak and write Italian.

  • Solid revenue management experience, with the capacity to work confidently with the finance team.

  • Innate business-sense, underpinned by good technical acumen.

  • A results-focussed mindset, with great problem-solving capabilities.
