Ø  Possess a good command of English

Ø  An excellent verbal manner and proven customer service skills

Ø  Good knowledge or experience of the hospitality industry

Ø  Good organisation  skills with an attention to detail

Ø  A team Player with flexible & positive attitude

Ø  Hardworking and consistent

Ø  Chinese language would be considered a great advantage




Ø  Previous experience in hosting

Ø  Previous experience using booking systems

Ø  Be able to demonstrate experience in complaint handling

Ø  Passion for the hospitality industry

Ø  Able to work in a fast paced environment & remain calm under pressure

Ø  Previous brand experience or knowledge




This role requires the following responsibilities, which include but are not limited to;


o   Represent and be the face of the hotel/bar to all guests

o   Must be highly interactive

o   Appearance must be clean, tidy and to brand standard at all times – dress code is night out and business meeting

o   Behave in a friendly and courteous manner during all interactions

o   Greet guests with a warm welcome, open body language and a smile always as this can impact on how guests respond to the company’s offers

o   Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of professionalism

o   Maintain a clean work environment

o   Understand layout, floor plan and different seating styles based on group size and demographic

o   Allocate tables for each reservation based on guest and business needs

o   Lead guests to their seats and make sure they are properly served

o   Guide guests in a timely fashion and building repoire

o   Ensure that guests are always comfortable and made to feel welcome

o   Ensure guests are seated comfortably and are also managed in orderly manner

o   move around the establishment to make sure all guests are well taken care of

o   Entertain walk-in guests who have found their own seats and advise them accordingly always accommodating them as much as possible

o   Make efforts towards pacifying displeased guests and if things get out of hands, revert to the appropriate supervisor

o   Oversee and keep track of minimum spends in accordance to prearrangement

o   Work together with the management and other members of staff of the company in order to ensure top quality service delivery to guests

o   Explain breakfast concept and log hotel guest details

o   Accommodate to the needs of the guests to the best of one’s ability

o   Exercise efficient communication to floor staff and bar staff

o   Have a sound knowledge of the area and local venues

o   Exercise due diligence with regard to the entry of guests entering the premises

o   Perform other duties/tasks and projects as assigned

o   Abide by the policies and procedures as set out in the Associate Handbook and any other applicable policies
