The Assistant Social Media Manager will support the Social Media Marketing Manager with taking responsibility of the entire Social Media Strategy of the Complex, and coordinating support from all operational teams. In addition, main responsibilities will also include assistance on all F&B Digital Marketing efforts whilst ensuring a high standard of overall resort marketing strategies via all Social Media Channels
Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:
To assist the Social Media Marketing Manager in taking full ownership of all Social Media channels following Social Media Guidelines & brand tone of voice as set by Marriott and the Director of Marketing and Innovation
Continually develop Social Media Marketing Strategy of the complex with a multi-leveled approach, leveraging awareness of complex activities & campaigns, nurturing customer relationship management/community building & powering revenue generation
Create and execute F&B specific Social Media Marketing strategy and establish yearly measureable goals
To assist the Social Media Marketing Manager in maximizing hotel presence across all Social Media Channels and constantly monitor effectiveness of strategies in place
Proactively initiate or pilot new activities and ideas to ensure constant community engagement and support of all activities ongoing across complex
Monitor complex online and offline reputation and work effectively with other teams to maintain excellent reputation
Ensure all stakeholders are engaged and aware of Social Media Activities and track results via proactive communication, reporting and analysis
Make changes and updates to hotel and F&B websites as and when needed
Responsible in assisting Social Media Marketing Manager with monthly Social Media Strategy reports
Schedule and monitor social media advertising across all brands and channels
- Tenure in current position minimum one year
Excellent knowledge and familiarity with Social Media & strong experience in managing Social Media Communities or a blog
Strong knowledge of Hospitality Industry/service-related industry, ideally in F&B. Marketing/PR experience is a plus.
Highly proficient verbal and written skills in English and fluency with communication and copywriting
Ability to analyse data from Facebook and Instagram Analytics
Initiative and drive to enhance Social Media strategy through new ideas and teamwork
Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environments
Strong eye/interest in visual aesthetic and design
Natural ability with building key relationships and networking
