The Bakery is complex kitchen manages all aspects of the bakery production including hygiene and safety. It also ensures that guests are provided with an excellent and bespoke culinary experience.
Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:
Participate and supervise various sections of the Pastry& Bakery Kitchen as
and when required
Assist the Chef de Partie in keeping the Pastry & bakeryKitchen areas and
items of equipment in a clean, hygienic condition
Assist the Chef de Partie in controlling wastage and achieving
gross profit targets
Undertake the Chef de Partie to achieve a high standard of
control in all dishes and items produced by the Pastry & bakery Kitchen
Confirm with food hygiene regulations currently in force
Excel every day to keep high standard as per the chef De
Check the quality and freshness of your product and production
Be aware of duty of care, and adhere to occupational health and
safety legislation, policies and procedures.
Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify
Supervisor’s managers of potential hazards and dangers.
Training on New menu Items
- Tenure in current position minimum one year
Minimum 1 years work experience in a 5-star hotel
- Specializes in Pastry & Bakery showpiece
- HACCP knowledge
Excellent background in food handling, hygiene & safety standards
- Enthusiastic & self-motivated
- Strongly-skilled individual
- Willing to work on shifts
- Work includes indoor & outdoor banqueting
