We would like to welcome you to the iconic Sheraton Grand London Park Lane Hotel, as our next Floor Housekeeper.
As a Floor Housekeeper, my working day usually starts at 9am but this can vary, depending on the demands of the business.
I report to the Housekeeping office were we receiving our daily briefing and then the Senior Housekeeper gives us our work allocation for the day.
During my shift I need to ensure that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and tidiness. I have to maintain standards of uniform, equipment.
My duty is to ensure that rooms are properly cleaned, supplied, equipped and checked according to ABC training.
I am responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors and heart of the house area of the floor.
I need to check the occupied and departure rooms, giving special attention to guest needs. I am ensuring that the entire operation is performed as per the laid down standards.
To organize immediately the guest needs under intimation to Executive.
Managing guest requests, including VIP amenities and communicating them to the relevant team members
Achieving positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
I am reporting maintenance issues to Maintenance/Engineering Department.
It is part of my job to assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
