【Job Description】

Responsible for the analysis of revenue, profit, and demand associated with the participating hotels’ rooms and function space inventory. Responsible for preparation of forecasts (budgets and projections). Prepares analysis of progress to budget, projections, and forecasts.  Responsible for critiques of sales strategy effectiveness. 

Responsible for managing rooms and function space inventory; ensuring that the inventory is allocated and restricted properly in order to maximize total hotel revenues and profits.  Ensures that all rates, packages, and hotel sales strategy information is built in the hotel’s inventory systems.

 



Technical Skills

1.Strong analytical skills

2.Strong knowledge of spreadsheet software, database management, and analytical tools

3.Detail oriented

4.Strong mathematical skills

5.Knowledge of operations research principles and concepts

6.Strong presentation skills

7.Strong communication skills (timely, concise updates to strategy, etc.)

8.Good pricing analysis skills

9.Spreadsheet and data analysis skills

10.Strong ability to extract and analyze data in order to draw viable/actionable business conclusions

11.Strong knowledge of Marriott’s revenue management systems and inventory management systems

12.Strong inventory knowledge of function space and sleeping rooms to include the impact of varied setup styles, function setup/tear down times, configuration of moveable walls, etc.
