Nara is located in the Kansai (West) region of Japan, known for its embodiment and preservation of traditional Japanese history and culture.  Nara is home to many of the country’s oldest surviving palaces, Buddhist temples, and Shinto shrines.  Nara has the enviable distinction of having more UNESCO World Heritage listings than any other prefecture in the country.

JW Marriott Hotel Nara is the first JW Marriott hotel in Japan, and the first luxury international hotel in Nara prefecture.  It will be located on the west end of Nara city, 700M west of the nearby Shin-Omiya Station, 1.6KM of JR Nara Station. The hotel will contain 158 rooms with all day dining, a Japanese specialty restaurant, and a lobby bar.

The facilities adjacent to the Hotel, which will be developed by the city government and various third parties, will feature a large convention hall, theater, public hot spring facilities, NHK Broadcasting Hall, and extensive F&B and retail complex.
