Provide a consistent high standard of administration and support to the HR Office and ensure a timely delivery and achievement of apprenticeship programs to a range of candidates at different abilities and ages. Undertake all training related duties including administration, tracking and delivering of In The Beginning Training, Induction and Company Statutory Training.Follow all company and SQA and SDS policies and procedures; ensure personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Enter and locate work-related information using computers. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Preparation and implementation of departmental and hotel training plans
Delivery and evaluation of Marriott Core Training Programs
Co-ordinate, support and resource department trainers – including chairing monthly training meetings
Overall monitoring of department short takes
Tailor making and delivering training programs for specific hotel needs
Departmental training audits
Organize, monitor and evaluate work placements and management trainees
Pre-course and post-course organization and evaluation administration
Be aware of statutory regulations in respect of Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and Fire
Any other reasonable request by Management

Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor.
Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to management and security/safety personnel.

Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette including answering the phone within 3 rings, answering with a smile in one's voice, using the callers' name, transferring calls to appropriate person/department, requesting permission before placing the caller on hold, taking and relaying messages, and allowing the caller to end the call.

Skills and Knowledge of Scottish Qualification Verification
Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
Previous user of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Excellent typing speed and accuracy of spelling and grammar, layout and content formation essential

Planning and Tracking candidate’s progress
Managing caseload of candidates to ensure qualification is achieved in a timely manner
Ensuring a safe and healthy working environment at all times
Supporting and mentoring apprentices to help them with a timely completion of their learning aims and qualification
Observe, mark, assess and review work produced by the apprentices to ensure it is of the accepted standard and meet the learning aims and criteria of the awarding body
Provides information relevant to apprenticeship completion to the HR Managers/DHR
Partner with the candidate’s direct supervisor to enable them to play a proactive role in supporting and helping the candidate apply skills in the workplace
Training and Development: Supports the property training business plan to ensure the delivery of new hire orientation, service training, compliance and safety training and leadership development training to all associates
Associate Relations: Administers policies and procedures to ensure associates are treated fairly and equitably. Supports and embeds a culture that embraces the brand service strategy and supports the present day business environment
Human Resources: Creates and sustains a work environment that embraces the brand’s culture and focuses on fair and equitable treatment and associate satisfaction to enable business results
