The role is based in Marriott / YTL Hotels Area Team responsible to maximize hotel revenue and profit in a given cluster and market. Position is accountable for pricing, positioning and inventory management of transient, group and catering, oversees all the processes associated with demand, revenue, forecasting, inventory management and opportunity analysis.

 

The position works very closely with the sales strategy team to develop the hotel (s) sales strategy and ensure implementation. Identifies future revenue opportunities and effectively communicates strategies to the respective sales clusters.



 

The role is based in Marriott / YTL Hotels Area Team responsible to maximize hotel revenue and profit in a given cluster and market. Position is accountable for pricing, positioning and inventory management of transient, group and catering, oversees all the processes associated with demand, revenue, forecasting, inventory management and opportunity analysis.

 

The position works very closely with the sales strategy team to develop the hotel (s) sales strategy and ensure implementation. Identifies future revenue opportunities and effectively communicates strategies to the respective sales clusters.

  • Execute analysis activities focusing on revenue, profit and demand associated with hotel (s) rooms and space inventory.
  • Executes inventory management activities in the given cluster. Responsible for managing rooms and function space inventory
  • Accountable for preparing forecasts, budgets and projections to meet due dates.
  • Contributes to sales strategy, evaluates effectiveness, and prepares historical and future analysis of revenue and profit opportunities
  • Facilitates the sales process by ensuring a fast and accurate response to all sales leads.
  • Ensures that revenue and profit are maximized by effectively calculating the displacement of other business and the price-point(s).
  • Contributes to sales strategy, evaluates effectiveness and prepares historical and future analysis of revenue and profit opportunities
  • Serves as a ‘sales’ and ‘customer’ advocate for the hotel(s).
  • Monitor the compliance with and participation in Company promotions and eCommerce channels.
  • Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
  • Ensure proper systems configuration of database to support hotel needs.
  • Ensure hotels adopt best business practices related to the use of the Property Systems.
  • Execute processes to monitor and source data to identify and deliver improvements to current data maintenance.
  • Support internal and external stakeholder requests for data and promptly resolve data related issues
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
