Supervise, observe, evaluate, and train the telephone attendants.  Fill in as an attendant as needed.

                        Answer all calls using the guest’s name and an established script.  Assist guests with voice mail and messages.  Follow wake-up call procedures to make sure every request is completed on time.  Page hotel employees.  Assist guests and employees with the AT&T language line service if necessary.


Prepare work schedules and time logs.  Update the hotel directory and attendant’s handbook.  Order supplies and uniforms as needed.

Log and coordinate the installation of phones and other services for conventions.

Replace broken phones in guest rooms.  Provide handicapped services as required by the guests.  Inventory and ship room phones for repair.
