Construction of the largest full-service Marriott-branded hotel in Shanghai, Shanghai Marriott Hotel City Centre opened its doors on 24 November, 2011. Located aside People's Square and Park on Xi Zang Middle Road, the Shanghai Marriott Hotel City Centre enjoys a premium downtown location. Nanjing Pedestrian Street is a 30 second stroll from the hotel's street entrance. The BUND, Suzhou Creek and the lively Xintiandi are all within easy walking distance.





As the essential component of Loss Prevention, Security Guard takes the basic

responsibility of security and safety. They should keep the safety at their working area. Monitor the nearby entrance & area, report any suspicious objective. Make sure property equipments are work normally, and report any defect and damage and unsafe situation. In the event of an emergency, guard should follow the instruction of Security supervisor to perform their duty.





  1. Security Operation安全操作

  • Safeguard the property and life of both guests and employees. Make patrols and inspect the hotel, especially the important place i.e. exits, in order to eliminate hazards or subdue a criminal action.


  • Work with walkie-talkie for easy contact.


  • Record any meaningful information on Memo Book in the sequence of chronology; include duty rolling, suspicious objective, damaged equipment, unsafe situation, etc.


  • Implement the hotel rules on Lost & Found, fill in related forms and report the lost to relevant department immediately.


  • Pay attention to all the people in the hotel to ensure their actions are not dangerous to the hotel.


  • Assist Human Resource in inspecting staff’s locker. Report to on duty security supervisor directly before performing the duties.


  • Perform other duties assigned by Director of Loss Prevention.


  1. Emergency Response紧急应对

  • Respond to emergency calls and follow the instruction of security supervisor .


  • In the event of an emergency, get to the scene immediately as instructed, find out the facts and then report to Security Supervisor in shift. Control the situation and perform first aids if necessary. Meanwhile, make a detailed report.


  1. Care of Equipment  设备维护

  • Oversee maintenance and handling of equipment used.


  • Ensure timely reporting of malfunction or maintenance deficiencies to appropriate area.


  1. Training And Employees Activities培训和员工活动

  • Attend scheduled training. 参加计划内的培训活动。

  • Participate actively in company initiated employee activities.


  1. Grooming And Hygiene仪容和卫生

  • Adhere to the specified hygiene and personal appearance standards of the hotel. 遵守酒店关于卫生和员工仪容仪表的要求。

  1. Attendance出勤

  • Adhere to the set procedures for attendance and time keeping.


  1. Company Policies And Procedures公司政策和程序

  • Adhere to the provisions outlined in the Employee’s Handbook Disciplinary Code and Rules and Regulations. 遵守员工手册内的列出的规章制度。

  1. Environmental Awareness环境保护

  • Reduce waste to supplies and materials by reusing or selling.


  • Recycle, when possible. 尽可能的回收废弃物品

  • Conserve water and energy by adhering to environmental / energy conservation checklist appropriate for her area.

  • Practice the guiding principles in day to day interactions.
