Location

This iconic Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort is situated between the renowned Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland.  The resort comprises  295 guest rooms, suites and villas.

 

 


 

Department

Due to the expansion of opening hours and operations at Harrisons restaurant we currently have 2 exciting new CDP opportunities available:

-Breakfast and Lunch a-la-Carte CDP

-Evening fine-dining CDP

 

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

Working with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef deliver an exceptional standard of fine-dining meals consistently

Take ownership for designated dining period and work effectively alongside the front of house team 

Efficient and effective work style with high levels of food standard and compliance with HACCP at all times

Provide training for new and existing associates in the required skills and knowledge

Undertake and supervise daily food preparation in anticipation and response of service requirements

All applicants must have valid working rights to work in Australia.  Sponsorship will not be available for this position

 

The successful candidates will be:

A strong work ethic with high levels of personal standards and a desire to deliver a fantastic product every time

Trade Qualified with strong HACCP knowledge

Extensive previous experience in a fine-dining environment either within Australia or Internationally

The ability to work under pressue

Talented and creative with high levels of personal motivation and drive

Excellent communication skills and be a true team Player

Flexible approach to working hours and shifts
