The Role Itself and the Duties Involved
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Kitchen department for an Apprentice Chef to join our team. The role itself is a fixed term position and you will be expected to work 5 days per 40 hour week.
Main Duties Include:
To work as directed on appropriate section and directed by Chef de Partie.
To make sure all food is prepared to the correct standard and in conjunction with Food Specs and food Safety.
To ensure good food quality and correct quantity. To make sure all food items are sent to the correct area on time.
Qualifications and Skills
There are a range of qualifications, skills and characteristics we are looking for to successfully fill this role. These include:
Previous experience working within a Kitchen or similar environment preferred
Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
Pro-active and reliable
Able to work alone and within a team
