Executing superior weddings and social events will strengthen customer loyalty and increase repeat business opportunities. Up selling of weddings, social and corporate events will result in increased total event revenue.
Careful and accurate forecasting and reporting of rooms and catering functions, will allow for better revenue management, and increased total hotel revenue.
Prepare Event Management related documents throughout the planning process (e.g., banquet event orders, group confirmation lists, proforma invoices etc).
Answer guest questions about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants).
Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests in a timely manner.
Focus on events in The Gantry Restaurant, the private dining room, the food truck and exclusive social events & weddings held within the restaurant and also high profile weddings or events in function spaces.
Growing a knowledge for Sales and working closely with the Business Development Manager to secure new business on weekends by running your own site appointments.
Assist in admin related tasks within the sales and marketing office
