The new W Ibiza will be located in Santa Eulalia, which is a short drive from Ibiza city’s popular high-end entertainment zone.  Santa Eulalia is a charming town with various new upper-upscale hotels opening in recent years.  The hotel will offer 162 rooms and suites and feature extensive F&B facilities with a signature restaurant, all day café with direct access from the boulevard, LIVING ROOM,  Wetdeck, Beach Club  and Rooftop Destination Bar, as well as Away Spa.  The hotel is planned to open summer 2019.

In your role as WOW Captain (Bell Captain) it is your responsibility to manage and guide the welcome ambassadors, ensure guests are offered seamless service outside, at the entry or in the lobby of W Ibiza. Luggage of guests should be well taken care of and safely transported to guest rooms and perfect general information regarding the hotel facilities and equipment of W Ibiza should be provided. Besides these responsibilities you perform security tasks, create work schedules and assist the team with work load when needed.



Assist guests and transport luggage


  • Valet parking, correctly registrate all cars and car keys.
  • Receive and transport guests’ luggage to the lobby or guest rooms

  • When departing, transport luggage to the lobby or vehicle

  • If necessary safely store luggage of (groups) or guests

  • Accompany guest to the welcome desk or guest rooms

  • Ensure guest satisfaction

  • Work obeying to procedures and work methods (HID’s)

Provide information and service



  • Provide information regarding hotel facilities, tourist activities, museum and instructions regarding technical devices
  • Make restaurant and theatre reservations and deliver messages to guest



  • While fulfilling work related tasks supervise unwanted / malicious guests or visitors

  • Approach unwanted / malicious guests or visitors and kindly requests them to leave the building

  • Ensure unwanted guests or visitors are appropriately dismissed and inform safety Security Department

Supervision & Other responsibilities

  • Guide Welcome ambassadors (bell boys)

  • Create work schedules

  • Ensure Welcome Ambassadors fulfill their tasks and responsibilities correctly

  • Help / assist welcome ambassadors in their work when needed

  • Ensure lobby is clean and in good state

  • Monitor / guard the safety of guests and talents in the hotel and identify and report irregularities

  • In case of fire alarm check fire doors and proactively take part in the BHV team.

  • Check the luggage storeroom by means of correct administration of all luggage / packages stored.

  • Organizing and providing information regarding request of guests

  • Avoiding and dealing with guests complaints

  • Ensure good contact with guests

  • Maintain a good work relationship and good contact between you and your colleagues and other departments.

  • Fulfill other tasks which could be expected or assigned



  • 1 year experience in a similar role
  • English and Spanish fluent. Other languages will be valuable.

  • Driving License is required.

  • Spanish work permit is required.
