Introduction to the Swansea Marriott Hotel

Swansea Marriott Hotel welcomes business travelers and vacationing families with superb service and a prime waterfront location. The Role Itself and the Duties Involved  

The role itself is a permanent position and you will be expected to work at least 40 hours over 5 days.

Main Duties Include:

To manage shifts and supervise 14 Kitchen staff members with reference to all kitchen areas. To meet company objectives regarding product cost, food quality, payroll budgets, health & hygiene procedures and food purchasing in order to exceed guest expectations.

 

What do you need to apply:-

  • Previous  experience working as a sous chef/junior sous  in similar establishment

  • Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)

  • Innovative

  • Pro-active and reliable

  • Able to Manage a team

  • Team development skills

  • Menu Planning and Costing

  • Conducting self-audits and ownership of Marriott food safety management system
