Assistant General Manager for Residence Inn  Augusta, GA

PeachState Hospitality has grown from 7 hotels to 20 in the past 3 years alone.  We seek a growth oriented leader with the ability to hire train and grow staff in a face paced environment.


As the Assistant General Manager, S/he will be responsible for optimizing and maximizing guest and associate experience. The AGM will be responsible for assisting with the overall success of the hotel, using strong leadership skills to drive revenue, maximize profits, and ensure quality.


Job Description
  • Optimize and maximize Guest and Associate experience.
  • Responsible for the overall success of the hotel, using strong leadership skills to drive revenue, maximize profits, and ensure quality.
  • Manages and monitors the collection of in-house guest balances and all other receivables and the issuance of credits and refunds to guests.
  • Effectively hire, retain, manage and motivate associates to ensure achievement of overall financial results, guest and associate satisfaction.
  • Champion of the hotel internal and external communications and record keeping.
  • Adhere to PeachState Hospitality values and mission statement.
  • Has a proven track record with a minimum of 2 years Hotel Operations experience at the AGM  level
  • Extended stay experience highly preferred.
  • Marriott, Hilton or other large brand experience required.
  • Demonstrated successful Top line, GSS, and  GOP Financial Performance
  • Effectively manage and motivate associates to ensure achievement of overall financial results, guest and associate satisfaction
  • Champion of the hotel internal and external communications and record keeping
