This iconic Resort is situated between the renowned Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland.  The resort comprises  295 guest rooms, suites and villas.


We are seeking a senior member to join our Food and Beverage Team as the Bars Supervisor.  This position reports directly to the Bars Manager and the Food and Beverage Manager.

The successful applicant will have:

  • The ability to effectively lead, develop and motivate a team of engaged associates

  • Bar and restaurant service experience

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role essential

  • Preferred applicants will have valid working rights to work in Australia. Sponsorship will not be available for this position.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • To personally have a thorough understanding of the resort and its operations, and communicate this to associates.
  • Experience in mixing and creating cocktails, bar operations and stock control.

  • Create  experiences that leaves the guests with that wow factor, engaging with guests, and working as part of a great team in a fast paced environment.

  • Effective control  productivity, rostering and payroll.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Responsible for supervision and training.

  • Undertake and complete  associate  certification training, including ongoing training of technical and service skills.

  • Ensure all food and beverage items served to guests are of the highest standard and presentation as per Resort standards.

  • Handle customer queries efficiently
