Job Summary
     Organize, confirm, process, and conduct all guest check-ins/check-outs, reservations, and cancellations. Activate and file room keys. Print, fold, and deliver folios and other items to rooms. Research and resolve disputed charges. Manage daily room inventory and alternative accommodations list. Operate telephone switchboard station and fax machine. Process all guest requests and relay messages. Gather, summarize, and utilize information about the property and the surrounding area amenities, including special events and activities. Maintain updated resource materials on all vendors and information to accommodate guest requests. Activate voice mail system. Test communications equipment. Update and distribute property telephone directories to staff. Maintain/run reports on all guests/groups/VIPs and their requests. Dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed. Print and audit customer bills for Express Checkout purposes. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model.
     Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect. Identify and recommend new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Enter and locate information using computers and/or POS systems. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
