Job Summary
Assist in the effective recruiting by providing organizational and administrative support.
  1. Take telephone inquiries and e-mail inquiries regarding employment prospect and give appropriate advice.
  1. Conduct processing of correspondence and other documents for recruitment.
  1. Keep office and candidate filing up to date. Conduct regular file calls for candidate files.
  1. Maintain the strictest confidentiality at all times on matters pertaining to the company and its employees.
  1. Assist in conducting Hotel site inspections for Orientation, Work Experience and Hospitality students.
  1. Ensure administrative support is undertaken efficiently and professionally, including work/processing, answer telephone, filing, maintain noticeboards, collect/distribute mail, maintain TRACE and forms file, and new employee documents.
  1. Assist with the preparation and implementation of training programs, including Orientation and other generic programs, completing all associated administration, eg. Orientation packs, invitations, certificates.
  1. Ensure to undertake a role as contact person for arranging the recruitment of new graduates and experienced associates.
  1. Build strong relationships with universities and hotel schools.
  1. Take in Hotel Internship Students (Domestic/Overseas) from universities and hotel schools.
  1. Receive, register and sort incoming applications for employment and action accordingly. Screen applications to ensure they meet 5 star standards.
  1. Ensure adequate arrangements are made for staff terminations, and support to arrange exit interviews.
  1. Ensure an efficient support of meetings, trainings, and events sponsored by HR.
  1. Ensure an efficient support of applying and renewing working VISA for foreign employees.
  1. Ensure compliance with legislated health and safety requirements within the workplace.
  1. Comply with all Corporate and Hotel Standards and Procedures.
  1. Promote by example the principles of “The Power of Service”.
  1. Actively promote a work environment, which cares for guests and associates alike.
