The Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park is seeking an Events Coordinator who shares our passion for delivering an unrivalled level of service to join the busy Catering and Conventions Team. You will need to be highly motivated in an environment where exceeding the expectations is the minimum standard.

As the Events Coordinator you will be responsible for the effective coordination and administration of meetings, incentives, exhibition groups and wedding functions.  You will support the rest of the Catering and Conventions department with their duties, settling accounts, coordinating internal hotel events and general office administration.


The successful applicant will have either worked in an administrative position or have operational hospitality experience.  You will have excellent organisational and time management skills, all of which are complimented by your articulate verbal and written communication skills. MS Office Suite experience is essential.  Strong working knowledge of IT programs such as Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint are required for this role.  You are required to hold unrestricted working rights for Australia to be successful in your application.
