The functions of the Director of Eclipse include;
The day to day Operations of the venue
Maintaining a fluid communication with Eclipse Manager, HBT, Security and talents to ensure optimum performance
Scheduling of staff rotas
Control of distribution of tips
Control of Cloakroom Extras
Control of Holidays and Festivos up to date, scheduled and paperwork delivered to RRHH before each talent enjoys the aforementioned days
Control of DJs, their arrival times and their alcoholic beverages
Control of themed nights, supervision of processing of commissions and fulfilling of contracts
Control of recruitment, play an active role in finding new talents for available roles together with F&B Director
Development of talent- coaching of HBT and Eclipse Manager and highlighting of potential management candidates within the team
Control over special events and formation of new menus with the input of all staff
Scheduling and holding of quarterly departmental Get Togethers with all staff
Control over Cash Handling,/Cash Control and banking procedures
Control of Par Stocks, monthly inventories, food and beverage costs, team payroll – assuring that all financial objectives are reached in both revenue and costs of Eclipse
Assure that all staff comply with their training modules within the given timescale
Develop the Eclipse brand based heavily on mixology, assure the team of Bar Tenders compete in national and international competitions
Follow the HID´s and policies of the bar whilst assuring that it complies with LRA standards, passes Clifton inspections without critical, and complies with Safety and Security regulations
Attend meetings with Marketing and the Director of B&F to create new themed nights/happenings, and partnerships with promoters.
Focus on the excellence of service, guest attention, welcoming procedures, speed of service. Continuous quality tastings of products, their presentation and development
Maintain a constant relationship and follow up actions with Maintenance team. Ensuring that the hardware and software is in proper conditions at all times.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness at all times
Ensure to attend and deliver safety and security training to the team. Serve as a liaison with the director of Security
Be an ambassador of the Eclipse brand
Support and have a fluent communication with banquet team when needed for any event which will take place in Eclipse
Ensure Micros systems are up-to-date
Financial information and allocation of charges and revenue follow the accounting guidelines
Manage and properly control the music levels and lighting ambiance
