We are looking for a dedicated and creative Lead Bartender to join our bar team. Our team of bartenders are constantly on the look-out for new trends, micro-local offerings, and discoverers’ evolving needs. They are not just a beverage enthusiast, but also the host of the space. Their role goes beyond the bar itself to take ownership of discoverer service more broadly and do what needs to be done. This Lead Bartender role requires the chosen person to use their knowledge and expertise to make the bar look and function flawlessly. They will build relationships with others across the hotel and in the community, to anticipate and deliver on our discoverers’ needs. They should be passionate about the discoverer service experience, but also have an eye for detail. Prior leadership experience is preferred, and experience in creating cocktail menus, inventory and beverage cost control is a must. The successful candidate will have minimum 2 years’ experience in a lead bartending role. Must be able to work a flexible shift schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. 

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support team to reach common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e. g., small print). Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps. Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
