Supervise matching, blending, fitting, sewing, inventory, ordering, receiving and recordings of all Entertainment and Attractions uniforms. Perform inspection of all uniforms and maintenance of uniforms. Have thorough knowledge of the operation of the automated Uniform Issue System. Act as primary liaison between Laundry management and line staff. Accept and take uniform orders. Sort soiled linens as required by production and volume. Supervise the safe and efficient operation of laundry machinery. Be informed and disseminate all communications throughout the complex to the Uniform Issue area. Maintain a working knowledge of sewing machines and attachments, fitting, cutting, and completing a garment. Perform alterations.Assist management in training, scheduling, counseling, motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; Verify uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; read and visually verify information in a variety of formats. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of employees. Reach, bend, twist, pull and stoop; move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds; stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time. Exposure to outdoor elements, wet and or humid conditions as well as extreme heat/cold (non-environmental).
