Job Description : 


We are currently seeking a General Manager for a new Fairfield Inn & Suites in Pineville, NC (Charlotte).  The hotel is located nect to Carolina Place Mall near Ballantyne.  The candidates we seek must have 2-3 years of previous hotel management experience, preferably with the Marriott brand.


The GM will report directly to senior officers of the company, manage, promote, coordinate the daily operations of the hotel and work very closely with brand representatives to ensure the hotel not only complies to, but exceeds ALL brand standards. The GM will also assist in achieving the companys' financial goals, while maintaining superior brand guest satisfaction scores. This individual will manage, lead and dress in such a way as to set an example for all other associates. The candidates selected for these positions will be employee's of a Marriott franchisee and not an employee of Marriott International, Inc.

Responsibilities at the hotel include, but are not limited to: financial

management, public relations, organizational leadership and property management. This individual preferably has a strong knowledge of the brand, understands perfection, attention to detail, be very well organized and must be results oriented. The candidate should also posses clear verbal & written communication skills, basic sales/marketing & forecasting skills, be able to operate a personal computer and have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and property management systems. This candidate should also have strong leadership qualities & human resources qualities, should be able to direct, recruit & develop hotel team and posses exceptional guest relations. This position also provides leadership to all associates in their respective departments, as well as, inspires all associates to achieve the company's financial, brand and guest satisfaction goals & objectives.
