FOOD & BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR
The Food & Beverage Supervisor is out on the floor during the service periods ensuring staff is on their game providing top service to the guests, communicating with the kitchen on food concerns, ensures side duties are completed, administrative assignments completed, handles guest service recovery and runs a top quality F&B operation.

Some duties and responsibilities of the Lounge Supervisor include:
Communicate with the staff by holding pre or post service period meetings. Supervise the ala carte, cocktail, in-room dining or free to guest breakfast buffet service based on the assigned service period. Have fun, make $$$, and make the guests happy. Check on the Kitchen make sure food is coming our correctly, quality is assured and the Chef is not having a tantrum. Check that opening and closing side duties have been done. Make sure staff follows the Hotel's food sanitation policies and procedures. Assist in training new F&B front of the house staff. Assist with setting up, supervising special events as directed. Exercise service recovery when necessary to the guest's satisfaction.
Some desired qualifications of the Lounge Supervisor position include:
Ala carte serving experience in an upscale house. Experience in training front of the house staff in service, sales and POS usage. Basic bartending skills (to jump in an help when the weeds start to get tall). Good verbal communication skills. Experience in training staff in F&B front of the house.
Some minimum qualifications of the Lounge Supervisor position are:
Able to become TIPS or TABC certified. Able to meet physical requirements of the position e.g., long periods of standing/walking, lifting and carrying, bending and pushing.
