The franchisee controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including the selection and hiring process. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International.
The Director of Rooms will oversee the Front Office and Housekeeping departments. Both the Front Office Manager and Director of Services will report to the Director of Rooms. This role will be the chief customer service officer and MOD, focusing on evenings and weekends. Other areas of focus will be on billing accountability in the rooms division, cost management, and driving the balanced scorecard results.
Qualified candidates will have a strong rooms background in hotel operations as well as a laser focus on associate engagement and guest satisfaction including tangible results in driving outcomes. Proficiency in Marriott systems is a plus with integration processes that will continue throughout the summer. Prior experience in a hotel leadership role required.
