Job Summary
 
Banquets, groups and events coordination from beginning to end, customer contact, prepare "Banquet Orders" with the whole information required, active participation and follow up of banquets events development, and billing tasks. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to receiving guests, answering incoming calls, handling guest complaints as necessary, maintaining filing systems, maintaining schedules in terms of appointments, meetings, acting as a liaison with departments when necessary, and maintain a professional environment. This role will also be in regular attendance at Department Meetings and Hotel wide meetings. Confidentiality is of utmost priority to this role. Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required. Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers.

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
