Purpose of Role

 

Assistant PR Manager performs key functions of formulating effective public relations; promoting the Hotel and its venues to targeted audience; building relationships with media and the community; supporting online marketing team in adherence to W core values and social media strategy.

 

Assistant PR Manager will support Sales, Event Sales, Beverage & Food, FIT and AWAY Spa with their operations and promotional activities.

 

Assistant PR Manager will interface with hotel management (Director of Sales & Marketing and General Manager) to report on PR performance and media/KOL relationship and in line marketing content with Marcom manager and digital marketing team.


Responsibilities:


-Define PR and marketing objectives, develop and implement PR and  

 marketing strategies to meet hotel goals; including identifying and conveying 

 W’s positioning statement and key messages to targeted audience via    

 effective channels and campaigns.

-Assist Director of Marcom to develop and execute marketing campaign 

 to accomplish objectives.

-Initiate and maintain positive relationships with international, regional and local 

 media in order to generate news-worthy publicity and media coverage.

-Ensure that appointed PR / advertising / media buying agencies, graphic artist 

 and printers (if any) perform and deliver products with W’s image and 

 standards.

-Develop / approve all press informational materials and photography for 

  regular distribution.

-Develop advertising (image and tactical) plans for Beverage& Food , Rooms 

  and the Hotel.

-Develop and execute all media/press related events to create a positive and 

  strong presence to targeted public and press

-Help Director of Sales & Marketing and General Manager to build proper brand 

  images.

-Conduct/supervise photoshoot for marketing campaign

-To guide and develop the role of W Insider.
