Special Duties:
              1. Ensure that service and consistency standards are being followed at all times.
              2. Ensure that his/her outlet is kept clean and all equipment is in working order.
              3. Have adequate china – glass – silver par stock in operation. Identify replacement needs on time.
              4. Ensure that outlets are not hazardous for guests and associates personal safety.
              5. Be knowledgeable of fire/bomb/security and accident reporting procedures.
              6. Effectively investigate and follow up on suspected food borne illness cases.
              7. Follow up on all Marketing Plan assignments.
              8. Ensure that supervisors and staff get as much as possible feedback from our guests.
              9. Ensure that all Game Plan goals are followed up.
              10. Ensure monthly audits are done regularly.
              11. Attend all Departmental Meetings and Taste Panels.
              12. Analyze all monthly statistics and communicate results to the staff.
              13. Quarterly assist in china – glass – silver inventories.
              14. Use and support company’s guest response program.
              15. Thorough follow up on the use records to ensure that all implementations are followed by kitchen and service personnel.
              16. Co-ordinate with kitchen on effective food pick up system especially during peak hours.
              17. Follow up on the monthly inspection program and take appropriate action to correct findings.
              18. Suggest favorite food items to be included in menu change period and ensure that only non-favorite items are being removed.
              19. Work towards job completion rather than hours worked per day.
              20. Be able to develop annual operating budget.
              21. Be able to monitor budget via:
                21.1 Controllable Cost
                21.2 Productivity Reports
                21.3 Profit & Loss Statement
  1. Have the ability to take corrective action if budget commitment is “out of line”.
  2. Submit 3 months forecast on timely basis.
  3. Be able to react to business trends.
  4. Assist direct reports to better understand and execute budgeted goals.
  5. Be able to operate P.C. effectively during budget period.
  6. Have the ability to schedule hours and management personnel consistently with the volume of business and needs to ensure proper outlet’s coverage at all times.
  7. Have the ability to plan effectively in advance.
  8. Be flexible with his/her schedule, vacations and days off.
  9. Follow up on all assigned tasks and meet due dates.
  10. Update on a regular basis immediate supervisor on all issues related to his/her outlet operation.
  11. Closely monitor and follow up with Executive Chef on all issues concerning food items served in the outlet.
  12. Be able to conduct effective meetings/trainings, attend F&B Meeting regularly as well as any other meetings as per instructions of Director of Food & Beverage.
  13. Communicate all work-related issues to his/her staff and managers.
  14. Be able to effectively listen and absorb information.
  15. Be able to speak effectively.
  16. Be able to express thoughts clearly and concisely. Contribute with new ideas and communicate at staff meetings.
  17. Ensure that the yearly training calendar topics are effectively instructed to the associates.
  18. Ensure that 15 minutes training sessions are done daily in the most effective way and booklets are updated at all times.
  19. Ability to train supervisors. Identify M.I.T. and supervisors I.D. candidate and assist them in completing their tasks.
  20. Make sure that all management candidates went through the management candidacy review board.
  21. Be able to identify own weaknesses and establish a development plan with his/her immediate supervisor.
  22. Be able to coach and counsel effectively in relation to local labor laws as they to disciplining and unfair dismissal.
  23. Be able to use sound judgement in making decisions based on facts only.
  24. Have the ability to listen to the associates’ problems and make all efforts to create the right work atmosphere for them.
  25. Have the ability to provide alternatives and direction.
  26. Be able to objectively analyze employee performance I.E. strengths/weaknesses. (Hospitality skills Assessment)
  27. Have effective interviewing skills.
  28. Be able to administer P.A.F. and payroll. Especially annual reviews.
  29. Ensure that all new hires go through the 90 days training and monitor their progress.
  30. Know and implement the guarantee of fair treatment policy, ensure all supervisors enforce it.
  31. Have a good knowledge of the associate’s handbook.

Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met. Inspect grooming and attire of staff, and rectify any deficiencies. Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc. Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness. Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessary supplies. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well being of guests. Complete work orders for maintenance repairs. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees; and serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
