Job Description

This role supports the General Manager and his team by completing a wide and interesting range of administrative tasks. Duties include organising, composing and distributing correspondence to both associates and guests, initial responses and follow up to enquiries and collecting and tracking problem resolution information.


  • First point of contact for General Manager and other department members, providing assistance to callers.
  • Provides administrative support to General Manager, Executive Committee team, and other departments such as Loss Prevention.
  • Composes, produces and authorises correspondence on routine matters.
  • Creates and maintains new and existing files, both hard copy and digital.
  • Assists General Manager / Executive Committee with preparation of various reports and presentations.
  • Handles guest correspondence, positive and constructive feedback and responds to Marriott Customer Care issues.
  • Ensures that communication is distributed from the General Manager to associates via email and noticeboards, both hard copy and digital.
  • Keeps inventory of and orders office supplies for admin. floor in conjunction with the Sales & Marketing coordinator.
  • Authorises upgrades and organises special touches for our VIP guests.
  • Organises internal and key stakeholder meetings.
  • Insurance related incident correspondence.
  • Other admin. tasks including travel bookings, expense claims, meeting minutes, systems support, payroll authorisations, letters etc.
  • Any other task as requested by the General Manager / Executive Committee.
