Digital Field Marketing GSA
This position will be responsible for the execution of key initiatives which will drive digital sales for our SPG hotels in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.  The position will have direct accountability for driving KPIs for a specific portfolio of properties.  There is a strong focus on driving incremental revenue to hotels through tactical campaigns, segmental and destination marketing, search engine optimization and paid search-, metasearch- and email marketing. The position will report directly into the Director Digital Field Marketing.
 
Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / SCOPE OF CORE SERVICES
  • Manages a selection of properties from across the area.
  • Coordinate with hotel teams to implement digital marketing tactics for all responsible hotels in the area, including a 180 day rolling digital marketing plan.
  • Build landing pages and special offer pages to support segmental marketing campaigns to reinforce hotel USP’s and execute communication plan to drive share from specific target / niche markets.
  • Launch tactical destination and hotel specific marketing campaigns – ensure global campaign creative & copy alignment and promotional placements are optimized across hotels in the area.
  • Management of natural search optimization and core social media visibility and presence.
  • Management of Valhalla content where it relates to property messages/notifications.
  • Management of branded web content, SEO & photography updates.
  • Ensure hotel marketing plans are incorporated into the 180 day rolling digital marketing plan and they identify all areas where digital supports hotel plans
  • Build and manage key digital platforms (restaurants / meetings / spa, etc.) and implement best practices to deliver increased presence and incremental revenue to hotels.
  • Test campaign messaging and creative to determine relevancy across segments and to optimize conversion & overall performance.
  • Activate direct marketing channels to maximize campaign reach and impact (brand sites, email marketing, special offer pages, etc.)
  • Implementation of Guest Communications email marketing tool to drive incremental rooms and ancillary revenue to hotels.
  • Management of hotel content on Brand.com, Local Property and Campaign Sites to optimize conversion of visitors and drive incremental revenue to hotels
  • Manage the hotels use of Social Media and assist with platform implementation when required.
  • Management of Third Party Site / OTA Merchandising Opportunities
  • Drive direct response channel performance.
  • Provide regular reporting on results and campaign activity undertaken on behalf of hotels.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys writing, is sociable, outgoing and communicative, with a high affinity for the Internet and some experience in the field of digital marketing. You will have ideally completed your studies with a focus on tourism, marketing/e-commerce or have sufficient vocational training. You set yourself high standards for the quality of your work and remain calm and friendly in stressful periods. Excellent knowledge of spoken and written German and English are also part of your profile. Fluency in written and spoken French desirable.
