This role is a Coordinator for the Food and
This position would be 60% Banquets
Coordinator and 40% F&B coordinator.
Candidate should have 1-3 years experience
as a cooridnator.
Must be eligible to work in Canada at time
Must be proficient in computer skills
including basic graphic design, MS Excel, Publisher, Social Media and Power
Exposure to Menu Design, labels will be nice
Any marketing experience would be an asset.
Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met. Inspect grooming and attire of staff, and rectify any deficiencies. Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc. Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness. Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessary supplies. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests. Complete work orders for maintenance repairs. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, motivating and coaching employees; and serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.

Organize and update all Event Orders on an daily basis as per CI-TY system updates. Daily billing of events through CI-TY system. Review and update timesaver payroll system daily. maintain records regarding payroll including day off requests, Paid time off etc…. Track and update the hiring process for all new hires, schedule associates for appropriate committee meetings, order supplies as needed for the banquet department and other food and beverage departments. Ensure clear and accurate communication of hotel and department policies, news and events. Attend meetings and take minutes for filing and distribution. Menu Design, creating labels, creating signage and printing of division documents. Complete maintenance request work orders in Transcendent system. Assist Managers and Supervisors in audits of service set ups and other F&B functions. Other duties as required to assist the Food and Beverage division.
