We offer guests an experience that is memorable, unique; one that travels with them through the entire guest journey. From their initial interactions with us on social media channels through their time in our hotel and restaurant, you will help our guests truly experience what our brand is all about. As a Social Media and Restaurant Sales Coordinator, you will use your knowledge of the local market and influencers to connect with our guests on social channels to create hotel and brand awareness, grow reach and drive engagement. When not building buzz on social media, you will serve as a seamless point of contact for guests hosting events in the hotel. Through your flawless event execution, you will give guests confidence in our brand's ability to remove the friction from event planning and delivery. Using creative content, online conversations, relevant partnerships and well executed events, you will play host to guests in two of the most important places where they spend time with us in the hotel and online.
Manage the day-to-day activities for social media channels. Establish long-range objectives and specify the strategies and actions to achieve them. Manage active and engaged communities around a defined topic or topics by managing long-lead editorial calendars, monitoring online conversations. Participate in online conversations to build Brand visibility, customer satisfaction and marketing/e-commerce support. Establish a positive online presence for the hotel(s) by integrating property-specific and Brand messaging in a compelling and valuable way for participants. Provide measurement of the impact of online presence to the hotel’s overall business. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats; move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
This role will be a hybrid of Social Media Coordinator and hotel sales. Here's a breakdown of how time will be spent:
Social Media - Generating Content (photos/posts)(20%)
Social Media - Active Interaction (liking, commenting, interacting with influencers and potential partners)(10%)
Social Media - Monitoring and responding to review sites(5%)
Social Media Tracking and Reporting (4%)
Admin - Coordinating marketing requests with design team(4%)
Sales - Target and invite SM influencers to dine in Atlas, negotiate exposure(5%)
Sales - Responding/following up to group inquiries for Atlas(7%)
Sales - Proactively prospecting/local sales calls for Atlas Group bookings(15%)
Admin - Internal Meetings and strategy planning10%
Admin - Ad hoc admin work for Hotel Manager and DOSM/office coverage(15%)
Admin - Special Event Assistance(3%)
