Job Description
We are looking for a Welcome Desk Agent who is passionate about W, passionate about music, style and innovation. It is critical that the ideal candidate represents the W lifestyle to our guests and customers. They, like the rest of our ‘talent’ are the soul behind the brand and they bring it to life.

The job of a welcome desk agent is to ensure that our guests are greeted upon arrival and provided with an efficient check-in. A responsibility during check in is to ensure that all guest preferences are fulfilled as well as retrieving all necessary guest information like the method of payment.

The Welcome Desk is often the first point of contact for guests, we need to be extremely knowledgeable of the hotel, the facilities and the area. Communication with other departments is very important to ensure an efficient operation. Multitasking will be part of the job and you should be able to remain calm in sometimes busy situations. As a Welcome Desk Agent we occasionally have to deal with difficult situations, you should be confident in dealing with those as well.

W is all about creating memorable experience, and we encourage all of our talents to be creative and go the extra mile for our guests.

As a Welcome Desk Agent you are also responsible for the lasting impression of the hotel - ensuring that the guests enjoyed their experience throughout their whole stay. The billing needs to be accurate and payment needs to be obtained.

The Welcome Desk is covered 24/7 and the different shifts are rotated between all talents. We all take great pride in being part of the team: knowing we help build memories and making their stay special together!


  • Secondary vocational education - MBO  or HBO higher level education thinking level
  • Minimum of one-year experience in the same or similar role
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
  • Experience in the luxury segment
  • Legal eligibility to work in the Netherlands
