Purpose of Role
Under the guidance of Director of Sales, Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving / exceeding room revenue budget in their designated markets.
The Sales Manager interfaces with hotel management (Director of Sales and EAM – Sales & Marketing) to report on personnel issues, individual sales, service performance, as well as market survey related to Sales Department.
§ To ensure achievement of individual sales goals, business objectives and
§ To operate with peak efficiency through coordination, communication and
cooperation to support the department.
§ To participate and promote all Marriott global sales programs and utilise all
sales tools / systems.
§ Maintain regular contact with Marriott Global Sales Offices and where
appropriate, submit sales leads within the Marriott network.
§ To answer telephone and take messages for the department in adherence to
W Taipei Sales Department and hotel standards.
§ To maintain all files in accordance with established hotel procedures and

responsibility and resourcefulness by asserting, protecting and demonstrating
