Construction of the largest full-service Marriott-branded hotel in Shanghai, Shanghai Marriott Hotel City Centre opened its doors on 24 November, 2011. Located aside People's Square and Park on Xi Zang Middle Road, the Shanghai Marriott Hotel City Centre enjoys a premium downtown location. Nanjing Pedestrian Street is a 30 second stroll from the hotel's street entrance. The BUND, Suzhou Creek and the lively Xintiandi are all within easy walking distance.





1. Hours of work: - May change without written notice according to business needs



a. 7:00 A.M. to 3: 30 P.M.

b. 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.

c. 12:30 P.M. – 9:00 P.M.

d. 2:30 P.M. – 11:00 P.M.

e. 11:00 P.M. – 7:30 A.M.


2. Must be physically fit and have the ability to bend, stoop and lift.



3. Must be reliable; willing to work weekends and holidays.



4. Pick up room reports and keys to assigned areas daily. All keys must be signed for in

the key sign-out log.



5. Always be careful not to make excessive noise in the guest room areas. You never

know when you may disturb a guest, and this applies at any time during the day or night.

6. Proceed straight to the linen room, removing basket, which has been stocked the night

before, and start to make up rooms in your section.



¨ Check-out will be done first; the only exception to this is a special request.



¨ Continue from room to room, being careful to observe all Do Not Disturb signs.



7. Clean rooms according to established procedures; return basket to linen room at end of




8. Follow direction and requests of House Keeping Supervisors and managers to the best of ability.



9. Actively involve in department meetings, trainings and gatherings



10. Always follow hotel grooming standards.
