Job Summary

  • Work closely with the kitchen brigade following instructions and directions
  • Assist Senior Chefs in the day to day Pastry Kitchen operations
  • Able to run the day to day operations of the section in the kitchen
  • Follow standard recipes and plate presentations in order to maintain quality standards of production and presentation
  • Display an interest in all kitchen activities and help colleagues whenever possible
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned
  • Keep all working areas clean and tidy

About You

  • Hold relevant cookery qualification and previous experience in a similar role
  • Have an understanding of the fundamentals of cooking and food safety requirements
  • Able to work efficiently and effectively
  • Energised in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work a rotating roster with full availability including shifts ranging from early mornings to late evenings.
