Job Summary
Main Responsibilities
  • Responsible from the emails coming during shift and emails need to be handed over to the shift.
  • Check no shows and contact Housekeeping
  • Check arrivals for the day and allocate changes as necessary especially early arrivals. Extra attention for the rooms with inventory items placed inside by HSK.
  • Co-ordinate with HSK and Butlers in case of any reallocation
  • Monitor Q rooms for early arrivals and VIP. Communicate with HSK and remove from Q once done
  • Check on Show rooms and coordinate with Butlers, HSK and Sales in case of any changes Ensure that HSK refreshed the Show rooms
  • Ensure that vacant rooms are available for upsell opportunities and are not blocked on the following days.
  • Assist at the Front Desk during peak time
  • View report "Guest preferences", choose Connecting and Adjacent in "Specials" field, and mark Dates range from today for 2.5 months ahead. Block rooms, hard block and put alert "DNM: family requested connecting/adjacent rooms"
  • Answer the phone calls forwarded to front desk to minimise the pressure and handle guest inquiry efficiency
  • Assist Front Desk during check outs and release them for breaks
  • Check front desk team accounting paper work and make sure are meeting the accounting requirement.
  • Attend BEO Meeting with Group Resumes
  • Create filing system according to work needs and requirements
  • To be an ambassador of the Front Office and the hotel, in and outside the work place
  • To ensure that the privacy of the guests and the confidentiality of the information is respected
  • To ensure uncompromising levels of cleanliness and maintenance of the work place through own responsibility
  • To ensure a proper use of the telephone etiquette as per St. Regis standards
  • File the down time report every three hours  and assist front desk once system is down
