Job Summary

The successful incumbent’s key result areas of responsibility:  

  • Ensure that the direct billings as received from Front Office is correct and transfer them to appropriate accounts  
  • Debt collection of all due debtors as per SOPs 
  • Compiling and sending of month end reports to relevant parties  
  • Sending of invoices and statements to debtors  
  • Delivering of invoices to debtors as required 
  • Allocation/reconciliation of credit card transactions 
  • Allocating payments on the system as received 
  • Assisting and ensuring the follow up and balance of O Status accounts within 48 hours. 
  • General accounting and admin duties  
  • To maintain and monitor storage of all financial records in accordance with the law 
  • To assist with monthly stock takes 
  • To resolve any/all queries 
  • Performing daily banking and checks 
  • Ensure that the cash up procedure is being enforced – cash up checks to be conducted 
  • To report on any variances to relevant departments and assist with resolving all banking queries 
  • Manage /control petty cash 
  • Assist with month end duties as may be required


The following are the requirements :

  • Recent work experience in a similar position  
  • Computer literacy (Opera, and Excel)  
  • Must be GUEST service driven  
  • Must be prepared to work weekends  
  • Positive attitude  
  • Must be able to work accurately under pressure  
  • Must be self-disciplined and motivated  
  • Must be a TEAM player  
  • Excellent communication skills, in writing and verbally.
