attendant’s main function is to process clean linen for the all guestrooms and
meeting spaces. Linen attendant are to ensure quality control of all
linen they handled.
65% Process clean linen through the various workstations in the laundry department
with established daily production requirements in each area.
15% Daily general clean and upkeep of the various workstations, i.e. wax ironer,
sweep floor and condition towel folder.
10% Report any linen shortages or discrepancies to the appropriate manager or
supervisor. Follow discard procedures for removing linen from inventory
10% Process miscellaneous linen items like robes, blankets and re-claim linen
addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be
required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with
the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the
manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere
to health standards.
- Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills and
executing special guest requests.
The candidate must follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support team to reach common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e. g., to identify defects). Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps. Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
