Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:
  • To provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times
  • To ensure good communication with all your superiors
  • To maintain complete knowledge of all food and beverages
  • To use a tray at all times when serving or clearing tables
  • To service and be responsible for your assigned section
  • To prepare and check tables before service
  • To present and explain menus
  • To ensure that all procedures concerning bar tabs and the transfer of tables are met
  • To ensure that you are clear on policies concerning the entry of guests and the guest list and that these are adhered to at all times
  • To clear and reset tables
  • To ensure the overall cleanliness of your section at all times
  • Opening and closing procedures
  • Carry out any reasonable request made by Management
  • To be on the floor at all times stated on the rota
  • To be in full uniform at all times whilst on duty
  • To report to housekeeping at any point that uniform is damaged or spoilt.
