Job Summary
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers
  • Determine how food should be presented, Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish to be served
  • The production of new dishes
  • Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program and food products
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees

Candidate Profile:
  • Must have a good knowledge and understanding of Western and basic Asian cuisines
  • Must have the ability and motivation to create new dishes and establish effective standards for all food production and presentation
  • Good command of English and a good communicator
  • At least 5 years kitchen experience in 5 Star Hotel at supervisory level, with a minimum of 3 years as sous chef
