The Westin Melbourne hotel is an oasis in the heart of the city's bustling Central Business District.  With a commanding location on Collins Street, arguably Australia's premier street, The Westin Melbourne preserves wellness in travel with a number of signature brand offerings including our Westin Heavenly® Beds,  Gear Lending by New Balance®, and WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio.


Responsible for providing first impressions, our Service Express team are proactive, welcoming and true professionals at delighting our guests.


  • Greet all hotel guests on arrival with a sincere and welcoming demeanour.

  • Show courtesy and open main hotel doors for entering and exiting patrons.

  • Maintain a consistent presence on the hotel driveway.

  • Recognise returning guests.

  • Anticipate guest's needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates.

  • To be of service to guests and patrons in all areas especially transport, local attractions and general information.

  • Maintain the immaculate appearance and cleanliness of the driveway and surrounding areas

  • Manage the efficient operation of the hotel driveway and the security and safety of guest vehicles.

  • Monitor and guide Service Express attendants to ensure the efficient completion of their tasks,

  • Be pro-actively involved in the hotel's operation keeping up-to-date with any events within the hotel.

  • Supporting other areas within the Front Office and Service Express departments. This will include assisting with valet parking guest cars, delivering guest bags and other items as requested.

  • Be observant of working environment and report to hotel management any undesirable or suspicious activity.


  • A passion for customer service and knowledge of Melbourne CBD and surrounding areas

  • Full driver's license

  • The ability to lead by example, have a positive approach to the workplace, demonstrate initiative and possess advanced communication.

  • Organisational and problem solving skills are also a must.

  • Must have the flexibility to work on a 7 day roster including public holidays and weekends
