Supervise multiple retail outlets within a location. Direct the overall retail efforts to create a proper merchandise mix, maximize sales and provide a superior service atmosphere. Coordinate buying and pricing efforts for appropriate retail categories in conjunction with Director. Work with director, supervisors and employees to successfully execute retail operations, continually improve guest service and employee satisfaction, and maximize the financial performance of the department. Display merchandise, restock items, and ticket merchandise with price or mark-downs. Follow proper inventory system to conduct and reconcile merchandise inventory. Count and verify merchandise orders upon receipt and document any shortages. Complete customer purchases, process all payment types, and process returns, refunds, and exchanges. Maintain appropriate cash levels in cash drawer, turn in all property monies and receipts, and ensure deposits/cash drops are verified. Follow checklist for opening and closing shop. Secure shop and monitor customer activity to prevent losses due to merchandise theft and damage. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees and supervisors. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
