§  Protect company tools, equipment, machines, or other assets in accordance with company policies and procedures.

§  Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

§  Communication with guests in a manner which promotes goodwill, trust and satisfaction

§  Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.

§  Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals.

§  Handle sensitive issues with employees and/or guests with tact, respect, diplomacy, and confidentiality.

 

Communications and Relations

§  Speak to guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate and professional language.

§  Provide assistance to coworkers, ensuring they understand their tasks.

§  Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette including answering the phone within 3 rings, answering with a smile in one's voice, using the callers' name, transferring calls to appropriate person/department, requesting permission before placing the caller on hold, taking and relaying messages, and allowing the caller to end the call.

§  Talk with and listen to other employees to effectively exchange information.

 

General Finance and Accounting

§  Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures.

§  Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, proper codes and departmental approval level.

§  Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for property according to cash handling policy and procedures.

§  Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.

§  Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.

§  Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts.

§  Participating circulation inventory physical count and fixed asset count.

§  Generate finance/accounting reports from computer system as needed.

§  Participating in reconciliation according to MIP66.

 

 

Accounting Generalist

§  Monitors all taxes that apply, ensuring that taxes are current, collected and/or accrued

§  Maintain monthly account reconciliation and work closely with Chief Accountant

§  Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.

§  Maintain all contracts and prepaid journal voucher.

§  Prepares A/R collection daily report for General Cashier.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATION


1) 1.Bachelor in Accounting or related field

2).Local taxes and local requirement knowledge

3) At least 1 year of related work experience

4)Supervisory experience is required
