Open the front door for guests entering the hotel lobby. Greet and welcome guests to the hotel in a warm and friendly manner. Provide information to guests and patrons and follow through any requested arrangements. Maintain an up to date knowledge of the hotel, local services and supply information and respond to guest queries. Coordinate and be aware of general arrival and departure patterns for current day, in particular V.I.P and group movements. Escort V.I.P guest to the room for check-in. Coordinate closely with Bali air-port representation, Front Desk, Club Lounge & Grand Tower Lounge team to make sure smooth in-room check-in for all guest using air-port pick up services. Anticipate guest’s needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates. Thorough knowledge of hotel emergency and security procedures.
Personal appearance is an important requirement. Grooming should be fastidious. The goal is to present a healthy, professional, natural appearance in both uniform and personal appearance. Be punctual, efficient and above all, courteous. Assume at all times a pleasing and helpful attitude toward each guest. Never speak in a loud voice to other employees. Always relay guest complaints, regardless of how small to the Manager or Supervisor. Maintain good eye contact and posture with guests at all times. Maintain a flexible and willing attitude.
Endeavour to remember regular guests, and where possible address them by name. Align working practices and conduct with Sheraton Saigon Hotel and Towers Vision; consistently strive to meet and exceed the expectations of both internal and external guests. Uphold the Company's Cares culture by demonstrating the Star Service Standards at all times to guests and fellow associates. Personally ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and related Company's Policies. Undertake other duties as required by the Front Office Manager/ Duty Manager and Hotel Management.
