§  Present and on time at the area of responsibility designated by the Supervisors. Absences or leave must be arranged with superiors. Failure of compliance will be dealt with accordingly.

  • Property Knowledge when asked about the St. Regis Brand.
  • Grooming standard should be strictly followed to ensure good personal hygiene.
  • Breaks should only be 1 hour.
  • Attendance is a must in daily briefings and staff engagement meetings.
  • Incidents must be reported to the Supervisor/s and Director immediately.
  • Incident/ Accident Reports must done and submitted to the Security and the Health and Safety office no more than half an hour.
  • Knowledge of the assembly point areas, emergency phones, extinguishers, hose and other Fire equipment, First Aid boxes and Lifeguard equipment where they are easily reached and the Lifeguard must be capable of using them.
  • Lost items will be reported to the Supervisor/s and the team and he who finds the lost item will be the one to handover to Housekeeping Department.
  • Mobile phones are not allowed during duty hours.
  • Hand over should be done properly to ensure clear information before, during and after the shift.
  • When finishing the shift, Recreation Assistant must inform the Supervisor before leaving his post.
  • Recreation Assistant must have the initiative in taking care of the kids whilst in the Sandcastle Pool.
  • Beach instructor should be seen stationed in — Family or Outdoor Pool, Beach and Sandcastle Club.
  • Recreation Assistant must update monthly activities.
  • Observe proper decorum to team members, supervisors and HODs at times.
  • Avoid unnecessary chatting during time of duty. Personal chats should be done only during breaks.
  • Gathering together in groups when on duty should be avoided.

 

     OPENING SHIFT

  • Check the beach Temperature Monitoring and the Weather Forecast of the day.
  • All First Aid equipment, toys, shoes, retail etc. should be stored in the designated area and logged in/out if necessary.
  • Checklists are done to ensure that all equipment is complete and / or functioning well (e.g. pool lights, jet pump button etc.).
  • Checking of equipment should be done to make sure that they are still in good working condition
  • Must be early and on time in their designated areas to clean the pool and beach
  • Clearing the rocks from the beach shoreline.
  • Any rubbish found along the pathway or anywhere else in the property must be taken and thrown in the bins.
  • Hand over should be done properly by beach instructor to ensure clear information.

     CLOSING SHIFT

  • Checklists are done to ensure that all equipment is complete and / or functioning well (e.g. pool lights, jet pump button etc.).
  • Equipment should be checked if in good condition and should be stored in designated areas.
  • Any rubbish found along the pathway or anywhere else in the property must be taken and thrown in the bins.
  • All First Aid equipment, toys, shoes, retail etc. should be stored in the designated area and logged in/out if necessary.
  • Hand over should be done properly to ensure clear information.
  • There must be double check the area on time and should not be done in a hurry.
  • Before leaving the area of responsibility, final checking of ALL pool and beach areas is a must.
