Based in Shanghai, you will maintain meaningful partnership with key schools, provide young talent recruiting and training support to all managed properties, implement the employer branding strategy on campus amongst local schools, establish and timely update trainee management system, promote various college relations programs and initiatives. You will also manage social media channels such as WeChat, Weibo in China.
Education and Experience
University degree required
Minimum 2 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or general human resources area in hospitality industry
Experienced in managing recruiting and training programs for hotel trainees
Ability to communicate professionally at all levels of the organization to understand the business needs and work out tailored solutions
China market knowledge is a must
Fluent in Mandarin and English
Skill and Competency
Up to date specialist skills in recruiting, social media and program management
Full proficiency in English
Well-rounded communication skills and positive work attitude
Demonstrated ability to think creatively, strategically, and operationally with strong analytical skills
Good coordination and organization skills
Well performed Excel and PowerPoint ability
Core Work Activities
Keep closely contact with partnership school’s teachers to follow up and implement all related initiatives
Work with area and property HR team to understand the business needs of trainees, identify gaps, support and conduct campus recruitment, and work out tailored solutions
Leverage and mobilize internal portfolio resources to drive coordinated efforts on campus to promote Marriott
Establish and update College Relations Database which indicates all the partnership model and school information.
Regularly track the collaboration agreement with partnership schools and keep close relation with appointed teachers.
Have constantly communication with property HRs and track the implementation of college relations projects and school cooperation programs.
Support to launch and consolidate various of questionnaire or survey to collect feedback and information from both schools and properties.
Assist to prepare and propel college relations initiatives.
In charge of establishing the trainee talent pool and track with trainee management process.
Support on campus recruitment by assembling information for internal sharing and track.
Employer Brand & Social Media
Create awareness and traffic on relevant social media channels, such as WeChat, Weibo & other channels.
Create localized and creative social media content
Create and roll out dynamic, out-of-the-box social campaign ideas
Social channel performance monitoring and reporting
Set and achieve social media KPIs such as follower acquisition, reach and engagement .
Stay up to date with the latest social media trends and adopt new social media practices as appropriate
